This is a modern, purpose-built small animal hospital that has been serving its local community for over a decade. The practice has developed a loyal client base and a strong reputation for delivering high-quality veterinary care with a personal, relationship-driven approach.
The hospital is well equipped with digital and dental radiography, a full in-house laboratory, therapeutic laser, and efficient clinical spaces designed to support high standards of medicine. A highly experienced support team and strong technician-to-doctor ratio allow veterinarians to focus on patient care while maintaining smooth, predictable workflows. The culture is collaborative, supportive, and low-ego, with long-term staff retention reflecting a genuinely positive working environment.
This Associate Veterinarian role offers a balanced and manageable caseload including wellness care, sick visits, diagnostics, and surgery, with flexibility depending on individual clinical interests. Appointments are structured to allow thoughtful, thorough medicine without pressure to rush.
The schedule is designed with sustainability in mind, operating Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm, with protected time for lunch, records, and work-ins. This structure allows veterinarians to finish on time and maintain a healthy balance between work and life outside of the clinic.
Clinicians are encouraged to take ownership of their cases, contribute to clinical protocols, and practice medicine in a way that aligns with their values, supported by a collaborative and engaged veterinary team.
In addition to your veterinary qualifications and clinical experience, we are looking for someone who demonstrates the following:
A genuine passion for small animal medicine and patient-centred care
A collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues
Confidence in clinical decision-making and case management
A commitment to continued learning and professional development
