
This is a newly developed, privately owned, independent multi-disciplinary referral and emergency hospital designed to deliver gold-standard patient care while prioritising clinician wellbeing. The purpose-built facility spans over 60,000 sq ft and sits within an expansive campus, offering a unique combination of advanced clinical capability and a thoughtfully designed working environment.
The hospital provides a full range of specialist services across small animal and equine disciplines, supported by a large, collaborative team of specialists, emergency clinicians, and highly skilled support staff. Facilities include multiple operating theatres, dedicated ICU, in-house laboratory and pharmacy, advanced imaging suites, and a comprehensive rehabilitation centre.
The dermatology service is already well-established, with dedicated clinical space and a strong caseload, supported by experienced dermatologists and a skilled technical team. Significant investment has been made in advanced diagnostics and treatment technology, including MRI, CT imaging, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, and specialist dermatology equipment.

This position is ideal for a Veterinary Dermatologist looking to join an established and growing dermatology service within a leading referral environment.
You will:
Join an established Dermatology Centre of Excellence alongside experienced specialists
Manage a varied and complex dermatology caseload
Work collaboratively with specialists across multiple disciplines
Utilise advanced diagnostic and treatment tools, including video-otoendoscopy and laser therapy
Contribute to clinical discussions, case rounds, and multidisciplinary care planning
Support and mentor interns, technicians, and the wider clinical team
Play an active role in maintaining and developing dermatology services within the hospital

In addition to your veterinary qualifications, we are looking for someone who brings:
Board certification (ACVD / ECVD) or residency-trained status
Eligibility for licensure with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO)

Strong communication skills with both colleagues and clients
