Equine Surgery Specialist – Hong Kong.

We are seeking a Board-Certified Equine Surgery Specialist, ideally with experience in racing environments, to provide specialist-level veterinary and surgical care to racehorses across training and racing settings.

In this role, you will work closely with trainers, owners, racing officials, and fellow veterinary professionals to ensure the highest standards of equine health, welfare, and performance. Responsibilities include delivering advanced surgical and clinical services, assessing fitness for training and competition, and contributing to the ongoing development of veterinary protocols and best practice within the organisation.

Accurate clinical documentation and collaborative decision-making are central to the role, as is a proactive, welfare-first approach to equine care.

In addition to your veterinary qualifications and specialist training, we are looking for someone who brings the following:

• Veterinary degree registrable with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Hong Kong

• Board certification in Equine Surgery

• Experience working in racetrack or high-performance equine environments

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A collaborative, pragmatic, and team-oriented mindset

• High standards of professionalism, integrity, and clinical governance

• Fluency in English (Mandarin and/or Cantonese advantageous but not essential)
