As Medical Director, you will lead the hospital’s medical and operational teams, ensuring excellence in patient care, client experience, and associate development. You will partner with practice leadership to streamline operations, mentor veterinarians and support staff, and set the strategic direction for the hospital’s continued growth.
The role blends leadership and clinical responsibilities, allowing you to influence the hospital’s medical standards while maintaining hands-on veterinary practice. You will also oversee daily operations, delegate effectively, and uphold the hospital’s commitment to quality care.
In addition to your veterinary qualifications, we are looking for someone who:
Holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
Possesses veterinary licensure or is eligible for licensure in Kentucky
Has at least 5 years of clinical experience and 2+ years of leadership experience
Brings strong coaching, mentorship, and team development skills
Communicates effectively with clients, colleagues, and staff
Demonstrates empathy, integrity, and a commitment to high-quality medicine
Is passionate about building a positive and collaborative hospital culture
