As Medical Director, you will lead and manage the hospital, ensuring the highest standards of medical care, client experience, and associate engagement. You will advocate for pets and their quality of life, build strong relationships with the hospital team and clients, and provide mentorship and guidance to associate veterinarians. You will work closely with the operations and practice management teams to optimise hospital efficiency, support staff development, and continuously improve clinical quality and business performance.

The role balances leadership and hands-on clinical work, with flexibility to focus on areas where your expertise can have the most impact.

In addition to your veterinary qualifications, we are looking for someone who:

Brings proven experience in veterinary leadership or medical direction

Is skilled in clinical practice, including soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, dentistry, ultrasound, and urgent care

Communicates effectively with colleagues, clients, and hospital teams

Values collaboration and mentorship, fostering a positive and growth-oriented culture

Demonstrates empathy, professionalism, and a passion for delivering excellent patient care
