Our client is a modern, independent small animal practice based in Cambridgeshire, established in 2018 and steadily growing with the recent opening of a second clinic. The practice is purpose-built, well-equipped, and proud of its reputation for delivering high-quality primary care alongside advanced diagnostics and 24-hour emergency services, 365 days a year.

The hospital is an RCVS-approved nurse training practice and places strong emphasis on clinical standards, teamwork, and professional development. With a collaborative team of four vets and a supportive nursing and support staff, the culture is positive, friendly, and genuinely people-focused — valuing autonomy, wellbeing, and long-term career satisfaction.

This is a permanent, full-time Veterinary Surgeon position, with flexible working options available. The role offers a varied and rewarding caseload, ranging from routine consultations through to more advanced diagnostics and surgical procedures.

You will be supported by an experienced clinical team in a well-resourced environment, allowing you to focus on delivering excellent patient care and building trusted client relationships. While the practice offers 24-hour care, out-of-hours work is optional and shared, not compulsory, providing flexibility and balance.

The role is well suited to a confident vet who enjoys clinical variety, teamwork, and working within a progressive independent practice.

This role comes with a highly competitive and flexible package, including:

• Salary of £65,000 – £100,000 DOE, plus optional OOH

• Monday–Friday role (08:30–18:30, 45 hours per week)
