You’ll work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary specialist team in a fully equipped, independently owned practice, supported by an experienced medicine nursing team and state-of-the-art diagnostics including CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, and an in-house lab. Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist – Ireland | ECVIM + ACVIM

Our client is an independently owned, referral-only specialist hospital located just 30 minutes from Dublin. Since opening in July 2019, the hospital has grown rapidly and now serves the entire island of Ireland, with a second sister hospital in Cork.

Multidisciplinary team includes:
- Six ACVS/ECVS Diplomates
- Three ECVS Residents
- One ACVSMR/ECVSMR Diplomate
- Two ECVIM-CA DiplomatesTwo
- ACVECC Diplomate joining in January 2025
In-house and collaborative support in Cardiology, Nutrition, Ophthalmology, Integrative Medicine, and Emergency & Critical Care.

The hospital is exceptionally well equipped, with:
- Digital radiography
- 64-slice CT
- 1.5T MRI
- Ultrasound
- Fluoroscopy with vascular capability
- Flexible and rigid endoscopy
- Comprehensive in-house laboratory
Due to a growing referral caseload, we are now seeking an additional Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist to join the referral-only internal medicine service.

You will work closely with a collaborative team of specialists, highly trained medicine nurses, and support staff, delivering advanced diagnostic and therapeutic care to referral patients. This role offers the opportunity to practise medicine at the highest level in a supportive, collegial environment, with strong relationships with referring veterinarians across Ireland.
You will be:
- Board-certified (ACVIM / ECVIM-CA) or residency-trained in Small Animal Internal Medicine
- Passionate about delivering exemplary clinical care
- A strong communicator who values excellent service to clients and referring veterinarians
- A team-oriented clinician who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary specialist environment
