This purpose-built, privately owned specialist and 24-hour emergency hospital is based in sunny Sydney, Australia. In addition to its flagship referral centre, the group also provides a mobile specialist service supporting referring veterinarians across the Greater Sydney region.
The hospital employs over 180 passionate professionals, including specialists in internal medicine, surgery, diagnostic imaging, and cardiology, with further sub-specialties continuing to develop. A large and well-established emergency department is supported by 17 experienced emergency veterinarians, enabling specialists to focus on referral-level medicine within a highly collaborative environment.
Culture is a defining feature of this hospital. The leadership team is fiercely committed to looking after their people and ensuring specialists are supported with the right staffing, equipment, and resources. The philosophy is simple: allow specialists to do specialist work, and empower the wider team to perform at their best. Requests for additional nurses, interns, or equipment are met with trust and action.
The hospital maintains an excellent nurse-to-specialist ratio of approximately 2–3 nurses per specialist, supported by interns and residents. A dedicated intensive care unit is currently in place, with a brand-new ICU nearing completion, featuring integrated Menios ICU beds and Servo-U ventilators with high-flow oxygen capability.
An exciting opportunity exists for a Specialist in Cardiology to join this multidisciplinary referral hospital on a full-time basis. Part-time and locum arrangements will also be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The cardiology service is closely integrated with surgery, internal medicine, neurology, and diagnostic imaging, creating an environment where complex cases are managed collaboratively and to an exceptional standard.
You are an adaptable, open-minded cardiologist who thrives in a team-oriented environment. You value knowledge-sharing, enjoy collaborating across disciplines, and bring excellent communication skills to both colleagues and clients.
