Role at a glance:
- Salary circa £200k – £230k annually depending on experience
- 4-day work per week; 8am-7pm
- No on call
- 2 years of relevant experience working in a private clinic is preferred
- Responsibilities including but not limit to:
- The treatment and case management of companion animal patients referred to the , Surgery Service.
- Participate in clinical teaching of stabilisation, diagnostic workup and therapy of patients, time management, veterinary economics, client service, and communication
- Manage a diverse and challenging client population
- Develop, review, and ensure protocols for vets and support staff in the department are consistent with current best practices
- Provide training for juniors and vet students. Adequate paid off-clinic time for preparation of courses and lectures will be provided as needed
